The sky splattered with the warm colors of the sun as it descended below the shadowed-leaved trees of the hills. Wind, calm and quiet, stirred my crimson and white apparel, and I gripped the coarse bark of the oak behind me. His emerald eyes were averted from me once more.
His head was strewn towards the universe above, yet he did not seem aware who was still at his back. I blinked in silent awes at himself, wishing for him to let me...let me just once...
